Dr. Carolyn Piver Dukarm
Dr. Carolyn Piver Dukarm is the founder and director of the Center for Eating Disorders at Sister's Hospital in Buffalo, New York. She received her medical degree from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine. She completed a Pediatric Residency at Children's Hospital of Buffalo and an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the University of Rochester. While on the faculty at the University of Rochester, she founded Camp Connect, the first residential camp in the United States for teenagers with eating disorders. Dr. Dukarm is the author of Pieces of a Puzzle: The Link Between Eating Disorders and ADD. She lives in Buffalo, New York with her husband and two sons.
Lisa Truilizio
Lisa Truilizio is most likely the person you'll talk to when you call the office and the first person you'll see when you arrive for your appointment. She manages the front desk, handles scheduling, and does billing for the practice. Lisa has worked in the medical field for many years. After taking a few years off to raise her children, she joined the practice in 2006. Lisa resides in Buffalo with her husband and three children.
